Renting JIBC Facilities
Several different types of rental options are available. Facilities at the New Westminster campus cannot be rented during normal business hours.
Capacity and cost are listed in the table directly below. Further information and photos are provided in the expandable areas at the bottom of the page - click the title to view full details.

Booking Details
First time renters must be approved before their initial request can be confirmed. The following documents must be submitted to the Facilities Administrator. Please include name of event, expected number of attendees, start and end time (including set up and takedown).
- Form for Agreement Re. Use of Justice Institute Assets (original signature required)
- Liability Insurance Coverage (as stated in the Form for Agreement Re: Use of Justice Institute Assets)
All documentation can initially be faxed or emailed. However, a signed original of the Form for Agreement Re: Use of Justice Institute Assets must be submitted as soon as possible.
Services Included
Classrooms
Each classroom and breakout room has a TV, VCR, overhead projector, projection screen, flipchart stand with paper and a whiteboard. Room setup is the responsibility of the rental group.
Theatre
Our theatre boasts a podium-installed Crestron control system capable of controlling the lights, SVHS VCR, slide projector, Proxima LCD projector, as well a 10 foot motorized screen and installed podium and lavalier microphones. Additional equipment can be made available if needed.
Note: Audio Visual technician services are not included when a theatre booking is made. See details below in the Audio Visual Requirements section.
AV Services are available Monday-Friday during normal business hours, but must be booked in advance and are dependent on technician availability. AV Services outside of normal business hours may be bookable dependant on technician availability.
There is a fee for all AV Services for external bookings. Further details are available in our audio visual rental policies and price list.

Catering
Food and beverage services must be ordered through Corporate Classic Caterers, JIBC's authorized onsite provider. For more information please contact the cafeteria at 604.528.5987.
Parking
Currently, parking is free of charge. Disability designated parking is located near both main entrances to the building.

Computer Labs
To rent a computer classrooms, please contact the Technical Service Desk at 604.528.5900 or servicedesk@jibc.ca. Once you have a rental date confirmed you will need to complete the Computer Classroom Booking Form and follow the instructions at the bottom of the form.
