Course Description
In this course, learners will learn to plan strategically to meet the long range fire service related needs of their community. Students will develop a comprehensive long range plan based on community requirements and considerate of contractual agreements and local/provincial and federal regulations. Projected training requirements, equipment and facility needs will be part of this plan. In addition, learners will plan collaboratively with other agencies to mitigate the impacts of potential disasters.
