Download Course OutlineThe EMR-Accelerated course is designed to efficiently and effectively train candidates to the EMR level of practice. This course is specifically designed for students with a previous first-aid or emergency health background and bridges the critical gaps necessary to handle a broader range of emergencies and medical conditions. The EMR course also provides candidates with foundational knowledge in human anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology and pharmacology; supporting further learning and development in health science.

IMPORTANT - Students who have registered in the EMR120 course are required to produce proof or verification of their previous training and/or certification on the first day of class. All courses that have been approved are listed in the 'Additional Information' tab above - please email emr@jibc.ca for further clarification or questions prior to registration.
