Students who withdraw five days or more prior to class start will be refunded 100% of tuition and the Learner Services Fee (LSF) minus a $50 administration fee.

Students who withdraw after five days prior to class start up to the first two weeks of classes will be refunded 50% of tuition and the LSF minus a $50 administration fee.

Students who withdraw after the first two weeks of classes up to the seventh week of classes will be refunded 25% of tuition and the LSF minus a $50 administration fee.

There are no course refunds after the seventh week of classes.

Application fees and program deposits are non-refundable.


Course Description

Applied Ethics introduces classical and contemporary theories of ethics and emphasizes strategies for moral reasoning, critical thinking and ethical decision-making. An interactive online course, ETHS100 uses a seminar-based format to challenge learners to integrate and apply theoretical perspectives, create personal codes of ethics and analyse contemporary ethical issues in their roles as citizens, employees and justice and public safety professionals.
