Course Prerequisites:

The tuition fee is for both Frontline Leadership Part I and II (FLL195 and FLL196).

The course has been divided into two separate sections to allow for practice time in the field. The same participants are expected to attend all six days of training. All course requirements must be met to receive course credits (requirements: 100% attendance and active participation; completion of required role-plays with self-assessment and feedback from instructor and peers; assignment based on course standards; action plan for themselves. A percentage is not attached to the assignment, however feedback will be given).

Transfers or withdrawals from this course require 14 days notice and are subject to a $50 administrative fee.

This is a continuation of Part I (FLL195). Participants will further their learning by acquiring knowledge and skills to problem solve, deal with problematic performance issues, identify strategies for working better together as a team, explore techniques to defuse non-constructive behaviours, and means to increase motivation.

The Frontline Leadership course is made up of two parts, each part three days in length.

Part II consists of five different topics - one a full day and the others a half day in length. Topics discussed are:
1. Problem Solving (full day)
2. Taking Corrective Action (half day)
3. Team Work (half day)
4. Dealing with Emotional Behaviour (half day)
5. Recognizing Positive Results (half day)

Fees
Course fee of $663.00 plus a learner service fee covers both Part I (FLL195) and Part II (FLL196).
