Download Course OutlineThis introductory pathophysiology course focuses on the study of homeostasis and how it is altered by physical, biochemical, microbial or genetic factors. The course includes etiology, pathogenesis, growth and developmental variations, clinical manifestations, complications, diagnosis and treatment of selected health challenges. By the end of the course learners will be able to identify, explain and discuss disease and disorder in relation to their physical presentation in preparation for future courses in medical assessment and treatment.
