Learning from Experience: Emergency Social Services Directors Share Insights and Best Practices

The JIBC's Emergency Management Division is making it possible for Emergency Social Services Directors to share their knowledge and expertise with their Emergency Social Service colleagues. Emergency Social Services Directors are invited to submit video recordings based on a series of questions provided by the Emergency Management Division. These recordings could later be made into a DVD for use in future Emergency Social Services courses. This initiative is in response to student feedback from Emergency Social Services Director courses, remarking on the desire to learn from others who have previous experience in this role.

How do you get involved? Print out the  ESSD Interview Questions and the JIBC Release Form. When you have completed your recording, attach the signed release form and send it to us at:

ESS Training Program, Emergency Management Division, JIBC: 715 McBride Blvd, New Westminster, BC V3L 5T4

Thank you for participating! If you have any questions please call 604-528-5575 or email ess@jibc.ca._________________________________________________________________
