Join Mediate BC and JIBC’s Centre for Conflict Resolution for presentations from conflict researchers and practitioners that illustrate this spectrum of Mind, Body and Heart to bring our full and best selves to the conflict in our lives and our conflict practice.
This event is appropriate for both experienced conflict practitioners and laypeople with an interest in conflict resolution.
Session 1: Understanding Common Cognitive Biases and the Impact on Negotiations, by Nancy Cameron
Session 2: Incorporating Somatic Based Practices in Conflict Resolution, by Kathleen Bellamano (Kat)
After their presentations, the speakers will form a panel to answer your questions and to further illustrate how they apply these new conflict approaches both personally and with their conflict work with clients.
