Be the one changing lives. Consider a career in BC Corrections

The Justice Institute of British Columbia (JIBC) Corrections Academy is offering free information sessions that introduce you to the corrections profession and highlight what is required to work within a BC correctional centre. 

Take part in an upcoming correctional officer information session to see if becoming a correctional officer is the right career path for you.

In these free readiness sessions, learn about:

  • Corrections and the Justice system
  • Roles and Duties of a Correctional Officer
  • Offender and Special Needs Population
  • Getting Ready and Hiring

While pre-registration is preferred, drop-in's to the information session are welcome.
