International Women's Day-
March 8, 2019 8:00 am Registration Forum 8:30-03:30
To inspire and embolden people in the fields of public safety and social justice to bring the female perspective into their work in meaningful and innovative ways. This event is open to students, faculty, staff, clients and the community.
Balance drives a better working world.
Let's all help create a #BalanceforBetter.
This event will provide a forum for the JIBC community to continue the dialogue around women in public safety and social justice from strategies to support gender parity to celebrating accomplished women in the field.
We will be having a silent auction with proceeds going to the Press for Progress Award. This award provides financial support for JIBC students in eligible programs, who have contributed to changing the status quo to foster equality and inclusivity through their community involvement.
Cost is $40/person. A limited number of free seats will be offered to JIBC students, faculty and staff. To register for a free seat email IWD@jibc.ca with your name and JIBC student number.
