JIBC Librarians conduct orientations to ensure students and faculty use the Library's resources and services effectively. Orientations may be provided to a group or on a one-to-one basis. The type of information covered at each orientation is customized to meet the users needs, such as:
- General overview of Library material
- Research skills
- APA Citation style
- Database searching, such as Quicklaw, Stat!Ref, etc.
- Copyright (faculty and staff only)
Departmental and Divisional Staff will benefit from attending a session, as the knowledge gained about our diverse resources will allow them to provide better assistance in course development and delivery.
