Off campus students
As an off-campus student you may borrow from the library as long as you are registered in a Certificate, Diploma or Degree Program. The mailing service is free. Here is what to do:
- Come to the New Westminster campus, with ID, to borrow in person ; or
- Email or call to request material be mailed to you; or
- Request your User ID & PIN number to place requests via the online library catalogue.
Articles and book chapters will be sent electronically, provided your request complies with the Copyright Act. The Act allows copying for study purposes. A reasonable portion is 10% or one chapter per book. Requestors may keep articles and book chapters.
Loan periods and transit times
Loan periods for off-campus students are the standard 28 days, including time for delivery and return of items.
Renewals are for an additional 28 days. Books may be renewed once.
You will find a date due stamp for each item showing the date they are due back at the library. Allow time for postage so that items are received in the library by the due date.
Borrowers receive a prepaid mailing label to return items via Canada Post. Borrowers are responsible for returning materials on time.
