JIBC honours fallen police officers in Baton Rouge
Flags at all JIBC campuses are at half-mast to honour the sacrifice of the police officers killed and injured in the line of duty
Justice Institute of British Columbia (JIBC) is flying flags at half-mast at all its campuses to honour the ultimate sacrifice of the police officers killed and injured in the line of duty yesterday in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Two police officers and a sheriff’s deputy died, and three other officers were injured, when an armed gunman targeted police officers on Sunday morning.
Peter Kingston, Acting President of JIBC said, “My thoughts go out to everyone who has been affected by this tragedy, especially the friends, families and colleagues of those who were injured and killed yesterday. On behalf of JIBC, our deepest condolences to them.”
