JIBC honours fallen police officers in Dallas

Flags at all JIBC campuses are at half-mast to honour the sacrifice of the police officers killed and injured in the line of duty

Justice Institute of British Columbia (JIBC) is flying flags at half-mast at all its campuses to honour the ultimate sacrifice of the police officers killed and injured in the line of duty yesterday in Dallas, Texas.

Four officers of the Dallas Police Department and one officer of the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Department died, while seven other officers were injured, when armed gunman targeted police officers during a peaceful march on July 7, 2016.

Dr. Michel Tarko, JIBC President and CEO said, “On behalf of everyone at JIBC, I want to express my deepest sympathies and send our condolences to the friends, families and colleagues of the police officers killed and injured in Dallas, Texas.”
