“It was exciting to learn about the innovative, cultural and practical hands-on training that the Justice Institute of British Columbia offers to students and first responders throughout our beautiful province,” said Minister Mark. “Our government is working hard to make education and training affordable and relevant for all citizens. We’ve already reduced the interest rate as part of our commitment to scrap interest on provincial loans as well as announced tuition free ABE and ELL starting September."
“We were pleased to welcome Minister Mark and show her some of what we offer to BC students as they pursue careers in justice and public safety,” said Dr. Tarko. “We are very proud of the role our staff and faculty play in educating and training students to be job-ready while also leading applied research in the context of justice and public safety. We continue to be focused on providing exceptional educational opportunities to those who dedicate themselves to keeping our communities safe.”
