Associate Certificate in Workplace Conflict
The Associate Certificate in Workplace Conflict is comprised of 11 days of face-to-face training that will teach learners how to recognize, understand and resolve conflict more effectively, and build more productive relationships with clients and colleagues.
Who Should Take This Associate Certificate
Anyone wishing to learn more about the process and practice of collaborative conflict resolution within the specific context of workplace conflict.
Learning Objectives
You will first learn the foundations of collaborative conflict resolution with a focus on self awareness in conflict. You will then apply this understanding and knowledge in a problem solving/negotiation setting. More complex situations in group dynamics will then be explored and finally you will apply analytical skills to a variety of conflict intervention approaches in a workplace setting. Your learning will culminate in a written and practical assessment of your learning, skills and abilities.
Format (Learning Format/Structure)
- The certificate program is 11 days of face-to-face training and a mail-in assessment.
- You can take courses individually or complete the associate certificate.
- Learn at your own pace – take courses when they fit your schedule.
- There is continuous intake into this certificate program.
- All four courses are scheduled several times throughout the year.
- Full attendance is required.
- We recommend you complete the program within 6 months.

Note: 1 day is equivalent to 7 credit hours. A credit is comprised of 14 hours.
Single courses in the Certificate Program are available for individual enrollment.
Cost
Certificate Enrolment Fee: $75
Cost for the program is approximately $2400 plus LSF (costs vary based on course locations).

Course manuals are supplied when you attend class, and if purchase of books or other materials are required you will be advised of the details when you register.
Admission Requirements
The courses and certificate are open to anyone. There are no formal requirements for admission.
