Law Enforcement Studies Diploma
Correctional services’ role within law enforcement in our communities is complex, challenging, and critical in terms of public safety. It is always open to public scrutiny and comment – both good and bad.
The goal of the Law Enforcement Studies Diploma (LESD) is to provide learners with the theoretical background, applied skills and specialized knowledge to become a superior candidate with higher success at entry-level employment. This applies to many investigation and law enforcement occupations, including both federal and provincial correctional services.
This Diploma is offered through a partnership between several Academies and Divisions of the Justice Institute of British Columbia.
The Justice & Public Safety Division has the full details of the Law Enforcement Studies Diploma.
