Adult Correctional Officer
Correctional Officers supervise sentenced and remanded adult male and female offenders in correctional centres throughout British Columbia.
CCJD trains all Adult Correctional Officers in the province of British Columbia, in partnership with the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General, Corrections Branch.
Who Should Take this Training
All of our courses are post-hire, meaning that they're only available to individuals who have already been hired by the Corrections Branch. We do not offer Adult Correctional Officer courses to the general public.
