Standards and Graduation
ICBC regulates the training students receive.
Students MUST attend all course sessions and must have completed the entire curriculum to an ACCEPTABLE standard to qualify for testing and certification.
Not everyone has the same background prior to training, and therefore cannot expect to progress at the same pace as others. Do not compare yourself to others, as everyone learns at their different pace.
All elements of the motorcycle skills assessment and the written test are covered in the practical training and classroom assignments.
Approximately 85% of students are able to complete the course curriculum within the time frame of the course and successfully pass the skills test.
Every effort is made by your Instructors to advise you as early as possible if it appears that additional time and practice will be required in order for you meet the required standard.
We cannot guarantee that you will pass the course in the time allotted, or even with additional training time; it is based solely on your abilities.

Refund/Cancellation and Transfer Policy
Transfers or withdrawals from this program require 7 days (1 week) notice and an administrative fee of $50.00. Please note: If you DO NOT ATTEND this course, you must re-register and PAY THE FULL AMOUNT.
No refund will be given if student fails to show up with appropriate riding gear or learners permit. Training courses are not rescheduled or cancelled due to inclement weather (rain). Students may not reschedule to avoid wet weather.
Enrollment in any education or training program does not guarantee success. Motorcycling is an activity that requires balance and coordination, a moderate level of physical fitness and endurance, multi – tasking ability and concentration. JIBC training programs are designed so that the majority of students have an excellent chance of successfully completing group training within the allotted time frame, however, we cannot guarantee any student's ability to learn to operate a motorcycle, or to pass the MSA or the Class 6 or 8 Road Test.
Our mission is to teach students safe riding skills, in a safe and professional environment. The safety of our students and staff is a primary concern. If a student is unable to progress adequately through group training (cannot safely keep up to the group training schedule) and becomes a safety concern for themselves or other students and staff, the instructor is required to discontinue group training for that student. It is possible that a student may find learning to ride too challenging, and may choose to discontinue training. Although we sympathize with the situation, we will not offer refunds to students who do not complete or pass a course.
