Let’s Go Riding……

JIBC Motorcycle Spring Refresher 

We are inviting all BCSC and JIBC Traffic Students who now have their Class 6 Licence to come join us for a one day ride.  This is a great opportunity to enjoy the start of the riding season in a safe environment under the guidance of one of our experienced traffic instructors. Come and explore some new roads around the lower mainland and let us remind you why you are a motorcyclist.

The day will begin with a one hour classroom session where you will review the hazards of motorcycling and the road skills to keep you safe this season.    This will be followed by a pre- trip inspection and parking lot warm-up; and then you will hit the road for a great day of riding.

You can use your own bike or if you don’t have a one, you are welcome to rent ours.

Please note:

• All students must have a valid BC Class 6 License and present it to the instructor
• Student  gear must meet the same standards as all JIBC and BCSC training courses
• It is at the instructor’s discretion to determine if it is not safe for a student to continue with the group ride; and if the students bike to does not meet JIBC safety standards and/or conform to existing legal requirements.
• Please be prepared for rain or shine. 

Overview

This extra training session provides current JIBC students an opportunity to review and practice the skills learned in MST110.  This training is recommended for students who did not successfully complete MST110  and/or are not quite ready to begin the Traffic Skills Course (MST160).    An Instructor will work with you individually and focus on the specific skills you may be having difficulty with.  

Please note you may require more than one session to successfully complete the MST110 course requirements and pass the Motorcycle Skills Test.

Overview

This one-on-one session provides licensed riders ( Class 6) an opportunity to brush up on their riding skills.  

This course is appropriate for riders who don’t have any recent riding experience and are looking to build confidence, review riding techniques and road safety before getiing back on the road.
