Be a Sheriff

 

Duties include providing security inside and outside courtrooms, performing jail duties, escorting accused, convicted and other persons by ground and air, organizing jury selection and providing jury management, assisting with Coroner’s court, and serving court-related documents.

In the course of their work, Sheriffs interact daily with a variety of clients, stakeholders and justice partners. This includes accused persons, the Judiciary, Crown and Defence counsel, law enforcement agencies, victims, their families and members of the public.
