Transcripts & Tax Receipts

Official Student Transcript

Students who wish to obtain their Official Transcript should complete Request for Official Transcript. Alternately, you can order your Official Transcript by phoning the Registration Office with your credit card ready.

A nominal fee of $5.60 (including HST) is charged for each transcript ordered and paid for by the student. Same day transcript service is available for a fee of $28.00 (including HST) (subject to availability of updated records). One transcript is issued free to each student at the time of graduation from a JIBC Program.

Authorization to Release Student Information

In compliance with FOIPPA, third parties, including law firms and employment agencies, that wish to obtain student records, should complete the Authorization to Release Student Information  form and send it with payment to the Registration Office.

Unofficial Student Transcript

Unofficial student transcripts are available online. Follow the login information below.

Online Login Information

  • Log in by entering your user ID and password at myJIBC.
  • User ID is your 10-digit JIBC student number without the first two zeros (e.g. 1001234567).
  • Default password is your date of birth listed as yyyymmdd (e.g. March 24, 1976 would be 19760324). You can change your password in myJIBC.
  • Don't type any spaces in the user name or password field.

Tuition Tax Receipts (T2202A) 

2011 tuition tax receipts are now available online. Please note that as per the CRA, T2202As are only issued to students who paid more than $100 in combined tuition and activity fees during the 2011 calendar year.

Bursary & Awards Tax Receipts (T4A)

2010 T4As will be mailed out before February 28, 2011. For information regarding your T4A, please contact the Financial Aid & Awards Office

Name Change

If your name has been legally changed, please present in person, by mail, or scanned email, the following supporting documentation, along with the JIBC Name Change Form to the Registration Office:

  • A copy of your name change document (marriage certificate or legal name change document)
    And
  • A piece of Government-issued ID in your new name such as driver’s license, passport, or other ID with a picture and signature.
    OR
  • If you cannot locate your name change document, we will accept two pieces of government-issued ID in your new name.

Change Contact Information

Changes in your contact information can be made online. Changes to your contact information are effective immediately.

If you prefer, you can contact the Registration Office and we can change your information for you.
