JIBC Community Public Safety Award
Supported by BC Hydro
Emergency Management Training
No community is immune from the threat of disaster. In this ever-changing world, we are experiencing an increasing number of natural and human-caused incidents that affect people, property and the environment.
The JIBC Community Public Safety Award provides awards of up to $2,000 to eligible communities to receive specialized emergency management training provided by the Justice Institute of British Columbia.
BC Hydro, who supports programs for public safety and emergency preparedness, provides granting funding to increase the response capability of BC communities by supporting the training of first responders, employees, and volunteers.
