Marvin and Colette Storrow Bursary

The Marvin and Colette Storrow bursary provides tuition support for Aboriginal students taking a JIBC certificate, diploma or degree program.


One award of $1,000 is available annually.

Eligibility Criteria

Recipient must:

  • Be an Aboriginal student enrolling in an individual course, which may be applied towards a JIBC certificate, diploma or degree program.
  • Have a demonstrated financial need not met by other available sources of funding, including student loans, grants, sponsorship, work income, etc.
  • Preference will be given to students involved in school or community activities, volunteer work and/or Aboriginal cultural events.


  • October 30

We will be accepting applications for the October 30th deadline starting September 30th.

Students are requested to make application to the deadline closest to their semester of study. As an example, students who would be starting their studies in September would apply for the October 30th deadline.
