Marvin and Colette Storrow Bursary

The Marvin and Colette Storrow bursary provides tuition support for Aboriginal students enrolled in a JIBC certificate (6 credits or more), diploma or degree program.

Value

One award of $1,000 is available annually.

Eligibility Criteria

Recipient must:

  • Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or have refugee status
  • Be an Aboriginal student enrolled in a JIBC certificate (6 credits or more), diploma or degree program.
  • Have a demonstrated financial need not met by other available sources of funding, including student loans, grants, sponsorship, work income, etc.
  • Preference will be given to students involved in school or community activities, volunteer work and/or Aboriginal cultural events.
  • Students must provide a letter of reference supporting community involvement.
