Project Hero Scholarships

Description

Project Hero is a National Scholarship Program, endorsed by the Association of Canadian Community Colleges (ACCC), through which scholarships are offered to ensure that the dependants* of deceased Canadian Forces personnel have every opportunity to achieve learning goals in Canada's colleges and institutes.

Inspired by retired general and recent Chief of Defence staff Rick Hillier and Honorary Lt. Colonel Kevin Reed, Project Hero allows Canadian colleges and institutes an opportunity to deepen relationships with the Canadian Forces, providing training and educational services to personnel and their families.

JIBC is proud to have joined Project Hero. The Project Hero Scholarship Fund furthers JIBC's commitment to providing financial assistance to help recipients of this scholarship with their educational program costs.
