The ASIS Foundation is a non-profit organization that advances the security profession worldwide by funding leading-edge research, education, and training. 

BC Aboriginal Student Awards
Open doors, go places with a BC Aboriginal Student Award. The Irving K. Barber BC Scholarship Society is offering awards of $1000-$3500 for Aboriginal learners. The program is open to BC residents of Aboriginal ancestry who have been active in their school or community.

Delta Hospital Auxiliary Society Student Bursary 
An award on the basis of need to a person involved in or entering the field of health care. Applicants must be current residents of Delta, BC. For information and an application contact the Auxiliary Office at 604.940.3416 local 3212.

Dennis McGann Bursary Fund
This award is for full or part time Communications studies at an accredited public institution in Canada. Deadline for applications is August 1st.

First Nations Computer Technology Fund Award
The Bishop’s Gospel Choir of British Columbia’s First Nations Computer Technology Fund was established to award laptop computers to qualified First Nations post-secondary students residing within the Diocese of British Columbia.

Funds for Youth in Care
For students who are currently, or have previously been, in care of the Ministry of Children & Family Development.

Ken Dobell Public Service Education Fund Scholarship
This scholarship is for students interested in pursuing a career in federal, provincial, municipal or First Nations administration and policy studies. 

Loran Award
The Canadian Merit Scholarship Foundation grants Loran Awards to talented young Canadians on the basis of character, service and leadership potential. A Loran Award includes four years of funding for undergraduate studies and a comprehensive enrichment program. 

Lotus Light Charity Society Scholarship
Any student who is 17 years or older and will be beginning or continuing their studies at a recognized post-secondary educational institution on a full-time basis may be eligible to receive a $300 scholarship.

National Aboriginal Achievement Foundation
Building Brighter Futures brochure featuring various scholarships and bursaries for Canadian resident First Nations (status and non-status) Métis and Inuit students who are enrolled in full-time post-secondary studies.

National Educational Association of Disabled Students (NEADS) Equity Awards
The NEADS Equity Through Education Student Awards Program will offer up to 20 outstanding applicants with disabilities an award in the amount of $3000 to support the costs of their tuition and student fees.

National Fire Protection Agency
For students enrolled in the Bachelor of Fire & Safety Studies. NFPA has a number of awards for students in undergraduate programs in fire safety and fire protection.

Passport to Education
(For students grade 10-12) The Passport to Education Program is intended to encourage secondary school students to pursue further education through post-secondary institutions and job-training programs. Passport awards are used to further students' post-secondary education and job training.

Public Guardian and Trustee of BC Educational Assistance Fund
Bursaries for individuals who are over the age of 19 and have been permanent wards of the Superintendent of Family and Child Service in the Ministry of Social Services and Housing (or its successors), and who meets the criteria deemed appropriate by the Trustee.

RBC Aboriginal Student Awards
The RBC Aboriginal Student Awards Program was launched in 1992 to assist Aboriginal students to complete post-secondary education, and provide an opportunity for RBC to strengthen its relationship with the Aboriginal community. Selected students are awarded up to $4,000 each academic year for two to four years to use towards tuition, textbooks, supplies and living expenses.
