JIBC Alumni
Each year 30,000 students take courses leading to certificates, diplomas, credits and now, degrees. Students study Justice Institute of BC material online or in person at one of our seven campuses or with a JIBC certified instructor for contract training in your neighbourhood. Students may be with the JIBC for a day, a 12 week intensive training program or a series of courses over a period of years. All share the same objective: To learn more about justice, public safety and undoubtedly, themselves.
Think about it. Each day alumni from the Justice Institute of BC touch our lives. Every time we hear a siren, are grateful for well trained court and correctional facility personnel, receive exemplary service from Vancouver area taxi drivers, emergency and victim services specialilsts or counsellors, we have very likely been helped by a graduate of a JIBC course or program.
If you are a JIBC alumni and want to continue your learning, we invite you to explore our program and course outlines in areas that are of professional or personal interest. Courses begin at all times of year. There is no reason to wait until September.
The JIBC offered its first classes nearly 30 years ago. There are literally thousands and thousands of JIBC alumni in the province; from corporate boardrooms to Search and Rescue volunteers. Just ask your neighbour, a colleague or friend. Chances are you're standing next to a JIBC alumni.
It's never too late to become a student again. Come back, you'll see.
