JIBC Victoria Facilities
Several different types of rental options are available. Capacity and cost are listed in the table directly below.
The JIBC Victoria Campus is comprised of one large conference room, four classrooms, four breakout rooms, lunch area and kitchenette.

First-time renters must be approved before their initial request can be confirmed. The documents listed below must be submitted to the Facilities Administrator, Victoria Campus (please include a name of the event, expected number of attendees, start and end time (including setup and takedown). If the non-profit rental rate is requested, proof of non-profit status will also be required.
- Form for Agreement Re. Use of Justice Institute Assets (original signature required)
- Copy of Liability Insurance Coverage (as stated in the Form for Agreement Re: Use of Justice Institute Assets)
Required documents can initially be faxed or emailed. However, a signed original of the "Form for Agreement Re: Use of Justice Institute Assets" must be submitted as soon as possible.
All bookings are subject to availability whereby the JIBC reserves the right to prioritize the needs of its own courses. Event headcount will dictate the room to which each booking is assigned.
Cancellations must be made two weeks prior to the booking date to avoid full rental charges.
- Some classrooms are technology-enabled and include a podium, PC, laptop connection, ceiling mounted projector, screen, DVD/VCR, and sound system. Instructions are posted in each classroom.
- Each classroom is equipped with flip charts and whiteboards.
There are two City of Victoria parkades located within two blocks of the campus: one in the 700 block of View and one in the 700 block of Broughton (under the Public Library). Street parking is available on Fort Street and is free until 9 a.m. However, you may only pay for 90 minutes and then must move your vehicle to another city block. Re-metering is not allowed in the City of Victoria.
A lunch area and kitchenette are available for use inside the JIBC campus. There are numerous restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance of the campus.
If using a catering service, the caterer must pick up all catering supplies at the end of the booking. Suggestions for caterers can be provided upon request.
