To provide support for Indigenous students in financial need enrolled in the Certificate in Fire Fighting Technologies program at the Justice Institute of British Columbia. This award was established in 2022 by the Dhillon Family.

eligibility Criteria
- Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or have refugee status;
- Indigenous students enrolled in the Certificate in Fire Fighting Technologies program at JIBC; and
- Demonstrate financial need not met by other available sources of funding including student loans, grants, sponsorship, work income, etc.
