Course Details

In this course, learners will examine theories and concepts for building resilience and responding to adversity and crisis at an organizational and community level. Learners will develop strategies for bringing a values-based approach to the processes of building resilience and responding to adversity from a personal, organizational, and interprofessional perspective. Learners develop the capacity to lead in times of crisis, to analyze complex situations, to contribute and collaborate in multidisciplinary settings without "taking over," to discern the "right" thing to do, and to persevere through implementation of a response.
