Course Details

Building on core instructional principles, this course emphasizes program management and lesson development as core values in fire service instruction. With a focus on safety, the Incident Command System, and the development and implementation of instruments, learners will develop their skills in the evaluation of subordinate Instructors. This course meets the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1041 (Ch.5) Level II Standard. Learners will adapt materials for delivery, instruct presentations, and complete evaluations of other student presentations.
