Course Details

This course is available to students enrolled in any one of the following programs: Diploma in Emergency and Security Management; Bachelor of Emergency & Security Management Studies; Fire Fighting Technology Certificate; Fire & Safety Studies Diploma. This 14-week course will introduce students to the study and practice of conflict resolution through a multidisciplinary approach. This approach includes a range of perspectives drawn from the areas of psychology, sociology, anthropology, law, and political science. The origins and causes of conflict, how individuals act and react and the practices and strategies for resolving conflict will be explored. This course is offered both online and in-person.
