This course is for physicians and allied healthcare professionals currently responsible for the care of critically ill pediatric patients. The course covers management of the acute pediatric patient with difficulties related to cardiopulmonary arrest, respiratory failure, and shock. PLEASE NOTE that ONLY a Heart and Stroke Foundation CPR-C (HCP) course will satisfy this requirement. The ACLS course is a Heart and Sroke Foundation of Canada course. CPR courses completed through Red Cross, St. John Ambulance, etc. DO NOT satisfy the CPR pre-requisite.
