Course Details

This course is for physicians and allied healthcare professionals currently responsible for the care of critically ill pediatric patients. The course covers management of the acute pediatric patient with difficulties related to cardiopulmonary arrest, respiratory failure, and shock. Course information is presented through lectures and small group practice stations. Physicians and allied healthcare professionals currently involved in the care of critically ill pediatric patients. (Formerly CPD204) ** VERY IMPORTANT! Please read: PRE-REQUISITES. Current and valid certification in Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada CPR-C (HCP). PLEASE NOTE that ONLY a Heart and Stroke Foundation CPR-C (HCP) course will satisfy this requirement. The ACLS course is a Heart and Sroke Foundation of Canada course. CPR courses completed through Red Cross, St. John Ambulance, etc. DO NOT satisfy the CPR pre-requisite.
