Often students are asked to present information and findings from either group work or individual efforts on a topic related to their course. We’ve put together a few pages of information that should help you prepare, organize and effectively give an oral presentation.

If you’re interested in understanding how oral presentations are evaluated, download Presentation Marking Rubric by Tara Horkoff, JIBC.

Although the rubric is used in English 100 and English 105, the fundamental elements should be applied in any presentation, whether it is for a group of an individual.
