JIBC.ca’s new normal is dynamic and informative, meets changing needs of today’s students
The Justice Institute of British Columbia (JIBC) has launched our new website JIBC.ca! Its completion is thanks to an impressive effort from staff and students representing the entire JIBC community. It’s an example of JIBC’s ability to anticipate, adapt and respond effectively to the changing needs of our students and community. It’s our digital new normal.
“The new JIBC.ca is aligned with and supports JIBC’s newly released 2020-2025 Strategic Plan with its renewed focus on transforming student experience,” said Dr. Michel Tarko, President and CEO of JIBC. “We are pleased and excited with the results as the digital space is even more crucial today than ever. The new site elevates the user experience and gives visitors a window to the justice and public safety education and training we offer.”
A fresh, new, colourful, image-rich look and feel for the JIBC of 2020 based on our rich history and updated to reflect our growth and diversity. The dynamic images feature JIBC students and training scenarios.
The new site is easier to use with a responsive, modular design that’s mobile friendly! It’s more social, featuring JIBC’s social media feeds and providing easy ways to share information. News and events keep our community informed of the latest happenings. Student success stories highlight the achievements of our amazing students and the value of our unique programs.
The new website’s architecture is focused on helping prospective and current students, clients, and staff find the information they need. The features include: ‘Find a Program’ and ‘Find a Course’ search pages with advanced filters; the use of areas of study to allow you to easily find what you’re interested in; and streamlined navigation.
Designed with input and feedback from students, staff and clients, the new site will be the go-to source for information about JIBC and the place to register for programs and courses.
