Two winning video projects promote Institute’s Praxis simulation training technology
The Justice Institute of British Columbia (JIBC) has won two Horizon Interactive Awards for two video projects promoting the Institute’s online, team-based Praxis simulation training technology.
A series of four marketing videos, each highlighting a unique characteristic of Praxis, took gold in the Video- Promotion category, the first gold finish for JIBC at the international Horizon awards competition. Each of the four short videos focused on one benefit of Praxis: customized training simulations are easy to build; it enhances your team; it improves knowledge retention; and it saves time, money and resources.
A separate promotional video took a bronze award in the same category. This was a computer-animated piece which provides a high-level introduction to Praxis, a learning system that focuses on decision-making simulations.
The two video projects were produced by the JIBC’s Centre for Teaching, Learning & Innovation (CTLI).
“These videos were designed and produced to highlight the unique characteristics of Praxis, and have proved to be a very valuable marketing tool,” said Robert Walker, Interim Director of CTLI. “CTLI has won awards previously at this international competition, and this further demonstrates the level and quality of eLearning materials being developed by CTLI.”
