Campbell Family Care and Compassion Award
In honour of JIBC’s 40th anniversary and to recognize and thank paramedics for the care provided to a family member, JIBC Foundation Executive Director Tracy Campbell and her family established the Campbell Family Care and Compassion Award in 2018 to provide financial support to students in the Primary Care Paramedic and Advanced Care Paramedic programs.
One award of $1,000 available annually
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or have refugee status
- Award open to students enrolled in the Primary Care Paramedic and Advanced Care Paramedic programs;
- Students must demonstrate involvement in school and / or community activities, especially volunteering, with a preference for applicants with experience working with seniors. Supported by a letter of reference; and
- Demonstrate financial need not met by other available sources of funding including student loans, grants, sponsorship, work income, etc.
Annually there is one application deadline:
- October 30
