Canadian Western Bank Award

The Canadian Western Bank Award provides support for Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) students and Law Enforcement Studies Diploma (LESD) students.


Two awards of $1000 are available annually.

Eligibility Criteria

Recipient must:

  • Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or have refugee status
  • Be PCP or LESD students
  • Be engaged in volunteer, school, and/or community activities
  • Demonstrate some financial need not met by other available sources of funding including student loans, grants, sponsorship, work income, etc.

Note: Students must provide an appropriate reference letter or have a referee complete the reference form. The referee should be able to speak to your volunteer, school and/or community activities (see below).


  • October 30

Students are requested to make application to the deadline closest to their semester of study.  As an example, students who would be starting their studies in September would apply for the June 30th deadline.
