Edmund James Woods Memorial Bursary
The Edmund James Woods Memorial Bursary provides support for students in financial need in an eligible degree, diploma or certificate program of 10 credits or more at JIBC. The bursary is named in memory of firefighter Edmund James Woods and was established in 2018 as part of the JIBC Future 40 Campaign by a family friend.
One award of $1,000 available annually
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or have refugee status;
- Open to students enrolled in an eligible degree, diploma, or certificate program of 10 credits or more; and
- Students must demonstrate financial need not met by other available sources of funding including student loans, grants, sponsorship, work income, etc.
Annually there is one application deadline:
- June 30
