Safetek Bursary

The Safetek Bursary provides support for students in financial need in the Fire Fighting Technologies Certificate (FFTC) full-time program at the Justice Institute of British Columbia. Preference will be given to Indigenous learners.


One award of $1,000 is available annually.

Eligibility Criteria

Recipients must:

  • Be a Canadian citizen
  • Applicants must be enrolled in the full time Fire Fighting Technologies Certificate Program; preference given to Indigeneous Learners
  • Demonstrate financial need not met by other available sources of funding including: student loans, grants, sponsorship, work income, etc.
