Course Details

This course will prepare participants to become members of an industrial fire brigade trained to the advanced exterior level. Key objectives include handling and deployment of fire hand lines and master streams, understanding fire behaviour, selecting, and applying appropriate extinguishing agents, establishing water supplies, developing effective fire attack strategies, ensuring safety through proper personal protective equipment, such as self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA). Participants will also gain the knowledge and skills needed to complete forcible entry, search and rescue in reduced visibility, and property conservation through salvage and overhaul techniques.
