Flags at all JIBC campuses at half-mast to honour the dedication and sacrifice of Const. Jeffrey Northrup

JIBC has lowered its flags to half-staff in honour of the life, service and sacrifice of Toronto Police Service officer Const. Jeffrey Northrup, killed in the line of duty in the early morning hours of July 2.

Const. Northrup was killed while he and his partner responded to a priority call in an underground parking lot in downtown Toronto.

Const. Northrup proudly served the Toronto Police Service for 31-and-a-half years.

Our deepest condolences go out to the Toronto Police Service, and Const. Northrup’s family, friends and colleagues. His sacrifice, dedication and commitment to community safety will not be forgotten.

We also send our thoughts to his injured partner for a full recovery.
