THE NEW WESTMINSTER CAMPUS
Located in New Westminster, the campus is the administrative hub of the Institute. Designed by Vancouver architect, Richard Henriquez, the campus comprises a main building and the Dr. Donald B. Rix Public Safety Simulation Building.

The Junction Café, is open for dine-in service Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., offering breakfast, lunch, sandwiches, pastries, and a variety of beverages. You can also order online at junctioncafe.ca for pre-order pick up.
There are also several restaurants within a short walk or drive from the campus.
Please be advised that the Fitness Room at the New Westminster campus is now CLOSED in accordance with new COVID-19 provincial-wide restrictions announced by the Provincial Health Officer on December 21, 2021.

All JIBC campuses are closed on the following statutory holidays: New Year’s Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, BC Day, Labour Day, National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Thanksgiving, Remembrance Day, Christmas and Boxing Day. Campuses are also closed between Christmas and New Year’s Day.

July 5, 2021 Update: Suspension of Facility Usage by Outside Groups Extended
JIBC is undertaking a comprehensive review of facility usage by outside groups including client groups and partners. As such, the use of JIBC facilities by external groups will remain suspended, regardless of some recent easing of provincial health orders regarding COVID-19.
Until the review is complete, no new usage requests or rental applications will be processed. Any organization with an existing rental agreement will be contacted directly by JIBC with additional information.
