The Vancouver Island Campus

Pay parking is available in on-campus parking lots. Information on locations, rates and more is posted on the Royal Roads website.


The Habitat Café is located on the second floor of the Grant Building. Details are available on the Royal Roads website.


Royal Roads University has onsite security services 24/7. Campus Security can be reached by calling 250.391.2525. Campus Security is located at the entrance to the Central Parking lot, at the east entrance to the Grant Building, and between the Boat House and Sneq'wa e'lun. The Recreation Centre is located on College Drive and is available for use by JIBC students. Information on memberships and passes, classes and hours of operation is posted on the Royal Roads website.

Note: After hours training can be arranged in advance through program areas.

All JIBC campuses are closed on the following statutory holidays: New Year’s Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, BC Day, Labour Day, National Day for Truth and ReconciliationThanksgiving, Remembrance Day, Christmas and Boxing Day. Campuses are also closed between Christmas and New Year’s Day.
