Project Summary: This research project explores the current state of paramedic education across Canada, including how programs are structured, accredited, and regulated. Using two scoping reviews and a national data collection activity, the study will map key trends and challenges in entry-to-practice, post-employment, and practice education. The work lays the foundation for future research and collaboration aimed at transforming paramedic education to meet the needs of a changing profession.
Partners: CSA Group
Outcomes and Benefits: The project will produce annotated bibliographies, thematic summaries, and a descriptive data model of Canadian paramedic programs. It will support future funding applications and national collaboration among educators.
