Course Details

This Directed Studies course allows a learner to pursue independent and concentrated study of a topic related to their program discipline under the supervision and guidance of a faculty member ("the supervisor"), with approval from the relevant Dean (or designate). The coursework is typically field-based, although more theory-based projects are also allowed. Directed Studies courses are not to duplicate material covered in other courses within the program, and should contain an element of originality. It is open to learners who have fulfilled the 2000 level education requirements of an academic credential.
