Course Details

This is a 9-day course open to police personnel only. Potential candidates must complete and submit a Drug Evaluation and Classification Program application summary which is available to them by any DRE instructor in their department. In the continuum of impaired driving strategies and training the DRE course is recognized as the course of choice by the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP). This training provides the Traffic or Patrol police officer with the knowledge and hands-on training to recognize, field-test and evaluate an individual that is under the influence of drugs, including alcohol.
