Course Details

Students will acquire a full complement of basic skills to prepare them for carrying out all critical life-saving duties as a First Responder Provider. Students will be equipped to: perform an organized and prioritized patient assessment; intervene in life-threatening traumatic injuries and medical conditions; manage a patient in cardiac arrest including the use of Automatic External Defibrillation (AED); recognize and manage a patient with a spinal injury; and record and report patient information. Students will gain valuable experience through hands-on practical sessions, accompanied by short lectures. The course is taught by experienced and practicing First Responder Instructors. (Formerly FRP106) Minimum age: 16 years.
