Internet Open Source Investigations

The primary focus of this course is conducting open source investigations with the intent of locating and gathering open source information on individuals from a variety of web sites. Whether the information is found on the Internet or within social media, this course will prepare the student to search, locate, and capture crucial information for any type of investigative file. Restriction on student enrollment to: Law Enforcement, Special Provincial Constables, those students who work for organizations that have a MOU with local municipal police department or RCMP (eg. Transport Canada Civil Aviation). Please contact program area for registration.
