Course Details
Psychological first aid is a modular approach to providing psychosocial and emotional help to victims of traumatic events. In this course you will learn how to assist individuals and families in the immediate aftermath of a tragedy and community catastrophe. It ensures that individuals who work with survivors of a calamity can help victims manage initial distress, identify coping actions that assist the person to recover, and mobilize resources for interpersonal support.
